Recap of HSA October 8, 2023 Face-to-Face Meeting At Kojak’s

We had a wonderful turn out for our October 8, 2023, Face-to-Face Meeting at Kojak’s Fine Foods in Houston. We want to thank everyone for spending time with your HSA friends, listening to their songs and giving feedback on their creations. We hope you had a great time.

Our President Mark Winters was the Master of Ceremonies and did an excellent job of keeping everyone involved and interested. We sincerely appreciate those members attending for the first time and presenting their awesome songs.

We enjoyed listening to the songs that were presented at the meetings and sincerely appreciated the audience for their amazing comments and feedback to the songwriters. The area for uploading the October songs will close on Saturday night, October 14, 2023. We have 13 songs currently posted on the website at www.houstonsongwriters.net . Please note “All Members” who are signed up on our website may review and comment on the songs that are posted through October 28, 2023 and “we encourage you to do so”. Voting for Song of the Month will open on October 24 through October 31, 2023. Any member who has paid their membership dues for 2023 can vote in the monthly contest. You do not have to have a song posted in the contest in order to vote, but if you do, you must vote in that monthly contest in order to keep your song in the contest. We encourage all paid members to Vote in the monthly contests. Note: October is the last month to uploads songs for the HSA 2023 Season. The HSA 2024 Season will begin on November 1, 2023.
