Attention: HSA Members
We had a wonderful turn out for our October 9, 2022 Face-to-Face Meeting at Kojak’s Fine Foods. We want to thank the 24 members for taking the time to spend their Sunday afternoon with us. We hope everyone enjoyed it.
Mark Winters was the Master of Ceremonies and did an excellent job of keeping everyone involved and interested. Thank you, Mark. HSA members, Ray Wyatt and Pam Grisham, recently attended SWRFA (Southwest Regional Folk Alliance) in Austin, TX and gave an interesting talk on their experience and review of the organization. There was so much to learn from the many SWRFA workshops throughout the day and they highly recommend going to at least one of their yearly events. They found it to be a great place to meet other songwriters from near and far. Thank you so much Ray and Pam. Everyone enjoyed your presentation.
We also enjoyed listening to the 9 songs that were presented at the meeting and sincerely appreciated the audience for their amazing comments and feedback to the songwriters. The area for uploading songs will close on Friday night, October 14, 2022. There are 11 songs currently uploaded for the month of October. Members who are registered may continue to review and comment on all of the songs posted on the website at www.houstonsongwriters.net through Friday night, October 28, 2022. If you have some time to add your verbal and written comments made at the meeting to the songs on the website, that will also be appreciated.
